Roger Edwards

Roger was fortunate enough to be a teenager at the end of the 1950s and into the 60s when music made the great leap from Bing Crosby to the Beatles via, Elvis, Little Richard, Buddy Holly etc. His musical tastes now range from rock and roll through to opera and most things in between. He even, very occasionally, ventures into the present century.

Born and brought up in north London, Roger has been watching Tottenham Hotspur FC for more than 70 years and has been known to play music associated with the team.

Having been involved for many years in amateur theatre and panto, radio seems to be a great place to be – performing without the need for make-up or dressing in a frock!
