Phil Hearne

I have always had a fascination with music and radio. As a small child I would listen to Tony Blackburn on Radio 1, then try to imitate the way he ran his show. A career in radio would have been a dream but in the late 1970s(!) I had no clue how to do this. I left the idea of being involved with music and radio far behind for many years. 

During my working career I was lucky enough to be very incidentally involved with local radio in Kent, Newcastle and Norwich as well as with Radio 4. However this involvement was only incidental and it was too late to change career even if I could have done. 

Since 2018 I have been involved with hospital and community radio. Joining 3Bs is something I am very excited about!
