Hey, it’s Matt here. I host the Drum and Bass show every Wednesday night from 9-11pm on 3Bs Radio.
I first got into DnB when I heard a classic High Contrast track on the radio and was instantly transfixed. I remember thinking, ‘what is this track, I’ve never heard anything like it before, it’s so cool and I need to find out more about this’. It’s now 15 years later and I’m listening just as much as I ever did, if not more! I think that’s partly due to the technical complexity of the music, and also the variation of the different sub-genres, such as liquid, neurofunk, dancefloor, tech, and even some jungle (technically considered a genre itself alongside DnB).
I want people to listen to my show and experience the same feeling I had that first time, and continue to have almost every time I encounter new music. There really is nothing else quite like it!
