Dick Freeman

I live in Croughton, South Northamptonshire. I’m married to Jane – between us we have three daughters and a son, six grandchildren and two Jack Russell dogs!  I started doing community radio in 2019 with Brackley community radio  and when BCR ceased following Covid, I was asked to join the team at 3Bs Radio.

Favourite place in the 3bs area? St James’s park in Brackley, lovely walk around the lake loads of wildlife and the fishing is good. 

Favourite Band?  Meatloaf. I heard them in the late 70s and I was hooked.

My desert island must-haves?  A clockwork radio (so I could listen to music 24 hours a day), a yo-yo, lots of Wine Gums (I can’t live without them ha ha) and factor 50 suncream. I’m a ginger – enough said.

Favourite concert?  Status Quo  in Newcastle arena – the place was rocking – brilliant!

Favourite show on 3bs radio? That’s hard – they are all brilliant but I do try to listen to Taff’s rock show on a Friday night.
