Bring along your own projects. All ages and abilities welcome.

Every Tuesday (Egerton Hall) 5-6:15pm
It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, musical or not, have a disability, have the worries of the world on your shoulder or just fancy hitting a drum! Accent Percussion is completely inclusive for everyone including YOU! Drop us a message at accentpercussion@gmail.com. Sessions are £7 per person – we’d love to see you there.

The “chatter and natter table” is a wonderful way of encouraging people of all ages to talk to others. During the days and times above, the table will be hosted by a friendly volunteer. Do go along for a sit and a chat.

MEMORY CAFE 

Wednesday 4th March 2:00pm – 4:00pm  Brackley Care Home. Our Memory Cafe is specifically for those affected by Dementia and their Carers. Come along to meet Lucia and her menagerie of tiny animals and get the chance to pet, hold and stroke them. Refreshments will be served. This is a free event.

MORSBAG WORKSHOP

Thursday 5th March 10:00am – 1:00pm   Stitching Kitchen, Top Station Road, Brackley. Help reduce waste one stitch at a time! 

Join Stitching Kitchen’s monthly Morsbag making morning where they turn rescued fabric into strong, reusable tote bags—and you can be part of the team that’s already made hundreds! Free to attend, with tea and biscuits to keep us going.

MURDER IN MARCH

Friday 6th and 20th March 10:00am – 11:30am  Brackley Library. If you are a fan of Agatha Christie, Richard Osman, Dorothy L. Sayers or any of the other great murder mystery writers then come along to the Friends of Brackley Library two events as they celebrate this popular genre.

BOARD GAME NIGHT

Saturday 7th March from 5:00pm  Cloisters Farm, Evenley. Cloisters Farm Junior Dungeons & Dragons and other board games night, proven popular on Saturday Evening. They feel that community, and opportunities for children, teens and families to spend screen free time together is so important for everyone’s Mental Health.

Sunday 8th March 11:00am – 12.30pm   Meet at Brackley Care Home. Join the Brackley Vintage Wombles as they clean up their immediate area. All equipment will be provided and refreshments will be served.

Monday 9th and 23rd March 10:00am – 12:00noon  Brackley Library. A fortnightly card-making group for adults. Different theme every time. Drop-in session.

Friday 13th March 5:00pm – 9:00pm  Egerton Hall, Brackley. Bite Club pop up returns for its monthly visit of great street food, drinks and music. The deal is simple, come hungry, leave happy.

THE GREAT BRACKLEY BAKE OFF

Saturday 14th March 10:00am – 1:30pm  Brackley Library. Brackley Library are kicking off their fundraising events by celebrating International Women’s Day and Science Week to find Brackley’s Star Baker. Local “celebrity” judges will be awarding a prize for the winner of each category and the ultimate Star Baker will win a coveted “Great Brackley Bake Off” cake stand. Entry forms are available from Brackley Library and there will be a £5 charge to take part.

EVENLEY GARDENING SOCIETY

Tuesday 17th March from 8:00pm    Evenley Village Hall. Evenley Gardening Society invite you to their monthly talk, “Do Your Roots Need Doing?” by Andrew Mikolajski. Members £3, visitors £4 (cash only, no cards).

Friday 20th March 6:00pm – 8:30pm   Waynflete Hall, Magdalen College School, Brackley. The Friends of Magdalen College School bring you a great family event with their Easter Bingo! Adult and child prize for a line and full house every game. Books cost £5 each and contain 8 games. These are available on the night.

Saturday 21st March 10:00am – 12:00noon    Brackley Library. Missing out on delicious home baked treats because you can’t visit the library on a Friday? Brackley Country Market are also at the library every third Saturday to bring you their delicious home made bakes and wonderful local honey and fresh local eggs.

Friday 27th March Doors open from 6:00pm, eyes down from 7:45pm   The Venue, Brackley Town Football Club. Will you be the lucky winner tonight as there are two jackpots to play for? Tickets cost £15 for a book of 6 games plus 2 flyers. Raffle tickets £1 a strip plus a bonus flyer.

Saturday 28th March from 7:00pm   Winchester House School, Brackley. Come and join a wonderful night of Dance, entertainment and Fund raising for an amazing cause. An event by FunKeys Music School and JB Dance Company to create this amazing fundraising event here in Brackley called Strictly Brackley Town.
