– with Hugh Adams……..On Bank Holiday Monday afternoon from 3 – 6pm Hugh Adams will be sitting in and at 3:30 Hugh will play an interview with legendary punk drummer Pete ‘Manic Esso’ Haynes.
Hugh and Pete have known each other for 45 years and their wide ranging conversation ranges from Pete’s band, The Lurkers, being on Top of the Pops to meeting up with Keith Moon and chatting with The Ramones.
Pete also shares his thoughts on drumming and drummers and the interview features music ranging from the Velvet Underground to Heaven 17 and from the New York Dolls to Miles Davis.
