The Brackley Remembrance Service and Parade is an important event in the town’s calendar, held annually to remember and honour those who have given their lives in service to their country. This year’s parade and service will take place on Sunday, 8 November. The parade will start at 2:30 p.m. from Winchester House and proceed down High Street. At 3 p.m, a service of Remembrance will take place, followed by wreath-laying at Brackley War Memorial.

Strictly Brackley Town Juniors is a very special community dance event organised by JBDC, bringing together children aged 6–15 from schools in and around Brackley for their very own Strictly experience.
Under the guidance of Jo Banham, Principal of JBDC, the children have been working incredibly hard in rehearsals, learning their dances, growing in confidence and, most importantly, having an amazing time along the way.
But it’s about much more than dancing. Their young participants are also busy fundraising for two fantastic charities: Freddie’s Future, their chosen charity for this event, and Katharine House Hospice, JBDC’s charity of the year.

A community dog walk, starting and finishing at the Paisley Pear, followed by availability to order breakfast (for humans and dogs) and a gift from Santa for the all the good doggos. We are raising funds for local charity BARKS (Banbury Animal Rescue and Kindness Service), and it is a suggested donation of £5/dog.

Great Central Big Band

The Great Central Big Band is taking the stage for a grand charity concert in aid of The Mayor’s Charities! Grabbing a ticket for this fantastic night of live music helps fund our regular youth clubs, sports, and safe social spaces for local young people across the community. Admission is £12 per adult and £8 for children (16 and under). Pick tickets up locally from JEMS Stationers, Brackley.
